Shipping & Payment Policy

At Golden Muslin, we are committed to providing a premium and transparent shopping experience — from handcrafted production to safe, timely, and hassle-free global delivery. This Shipping & Payment Policy explains our procedures for shipping, timelines, payments, and pricing. It complies with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, under the Government of India.

1. Our Commitment

We value your trust and understand the importance of reliable and efficient delivery. To ensure this, Golden Muslin works with top-tier logistics partners including Blue Dart, Delhivery, DTDC, DHL, FedEx, and Aramex for both domestic and international orders. We handle every order with precision, care, and transparency — ensuring no hidden charges, no customs complications, and on-time delivery.

2. Domestic & International Shipping

A. Domestic Shipping (India):

– Golden Muslin offers FREE SHIPPING across India for all prepaid orders.
– Orders are usually dispatched within 15–20 working days from order confirmation.
– Delivery timelines may vary depending on location, courier availability, and product type.
– Each order undergoes multiple quality checks before dispatch.

B. International Shipping (Worldwide):

– Golden Muslin ships to over 220 countries worldwide.
– All international orders are shipped under the Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) model — meaning Golden Muslin pays all applicable customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees.
– Customers do not pay any additional charges upon delivery.
– International shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on total parcel weight and destination.

3. Dispatch Timelines

Since our products are handcrafted and made to order, standard dispatch time is 15–20 working days for both domestic and international shipments. During festive or high-volume periods, dispatch may take an additional 10–15 working days. If there are unexpected delays (such as public holidays, regional restrictions, or logistic disruptions), our support team will update you promptly via email or call.

4. Receiving Order Guidelines

We want every delivery to reach you safely. To assist us in maintaining transparency:
1. Record an unboxing video and take timestamped photos of your package upon receipt.
2. If your parcel is tampered, damaged, or opened, please do not accept it.
3. Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery by emailing [email protected] with order details, photos, and videos.

This helps us coordinate with our courier partners and resolve issues quickly.

5. Order Processing & Tracking

Once you place an order, it enters our production and quality inspection process. Each product is handcrafted, inspected, packed, and shipped securely. Upon dispatch, you will receive an email and SMS with your tracking ID and a direct link to track your shipment. You can monitor your order in real-time on the courier partner’s official website.

6. Worldwide Shipping Coverage

We deliver to over 220 destinations globally, ensuring a seamless experience through a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service. This means Golden Muslin pays all import taxes, duties, and customs fees, ensuring your order arrives without any hidden costs or customs delays.

7. Payment Policy

A. Prepaid Orders Only:

Golden Muslin accepts prepaid orders only for all domestic and international purchases to ensure secure and efficient processing. We do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD) services.

B. Accepted Payment Methods:

All payments are securely processed via the CCAvenue Global Payment Gateway, supporting 29 international currencies and multiple payment methods, including:
– Debit & Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, RuPay, Diners Club
– Net Banking: All major Indian and international banks
– UPI & Wallets: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, Amazon Pay
– International Gateways: PayPal, Razorpay, and CC Avenue (for select regions)

All transactions are processed through encrypted and PCI DSS–compliant gateways for enhanced security.

C. Supported Currencies & Automatic Conversion:

Golden Muslin’s website uses an automated currency converter, which displays product prices in the customer’s local currency based on their country or browsing location. We currently support 29 global currencies, including but not limited to INR, USD, GBP, EUR, AED, CAD, AUD, SGD, SAR, QAR, OMR, BHD, CHF, MYR, HKD, JPY, NZD, and THB. All payments are processed in your local currency via CCAvenue, and any minor variation in the final amount may depend on your bank’s exchange rate.

D. Cancellations:

– Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement.
– To request cancellation, email [email protected] or call +91-90621-78685 (Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
– Once production begins, cancellations cannot be processed.

E. Credit Notes:

– If a credit note is issued, it will be emailed to your registered ID.
– Valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
– Can be used once only on www.goldenmuslin.com.

8. Taxes & Duties

Domestic Orders: All listed prices are inclusive of GST as per Indian tax regulations.
International Orders: Golden Muslin covers all customs duties, import taxes, and clearance charges under the Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) model. You will receive your order without paying any extra fees at delivery — no hidden charges, no customs processing, no delays.

9. Non-Deliverable & Return-to-Origin (RTO) Orders

If a shipment is undeliverable due to an incorrect address, incomplete contact details, or repeated delivery failures, the parcel may be returned to us. Upon receipt, we will either re-ship the parcel to a corrected address (shipping charges may apply) or refund the product value (excluding original shipping costs).

10. Sale Items & Non-Returnable Products

Items marked as “Sale,” “Clearance,” or “Final Discount” are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases where the product is received damaged or defective.
